happy new year!!

banks is 2 months old now. he is just getting so fun :) sleeping more through the night - 3 nights in a row he's gone to bed at 10ish and gotten up at 5ish!!!! here are some pics from christmas and some we took here at home :)

banks is almost two months old now and will enjoy his first christmas over at mimi and g-daddy's house. he's getting so much bigger now. he's cooing and smiling all the time. he's doing much better with sleeping and has become very bossy (wonder where he gets that) :)

6 weeks old

Banks is now 6 weeks old. He is getting so big!! He weighs 10 lbs, as of the last appointment. He's doing so much better about sleeping during the night. If only we could get him to go longer than 2.5 to 3 hours between feedings. He is smiling at us now, which is so cute and rewarding!!!

3 weeks old

Banks is 3 weeks old now!!! As of Tuesday, he weighs in at 8lbs and 22 inches. We are still very very tired - not sure when that will get better... And yes, people who said having kids is harder than you think, well they were VERY VERY right! It's so stressful, but also so very rewarding. And we are learning that with having a boy you must remember to put something over his winkie when you change him or else..!

1 week old

Well, we've made it a week!! It's been crazy here at home. Lots of poopy diapers, pee on the wall, late late nights but little Banks is such a good baby. When he looks up at us after he does something crazy, it makes it all worth it because he's so cute :)

Banks is finally here

Well Banks is finally here. He arrived on Halloween at 1:25pm. He weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long. Everything went great!! The labor wasn't fun, but I will update you on that in a later segment. I just wanted to post some photos and let you all know the good news.

waiting...waiting...waiting

The due date has finally come and now we wait until Banks is ready to join the world. The Dr. will let us go until Monday (41 wks) and then induce if nothing has happened by then. Please say that's not the case, I don't want to wait another week. Our bags are packed and we are ready to get this sucker OUT!

I hope he doesn't come on Halloween, because I would "hate" to have to eat all our candy myself!!

We'll let you know when something new happens :)

P.S. I am attaching a final preggo pic, because the camera is now in the suitcase ready for the hospital.

Baby Shower

My sister, Mom and Sharon (my mom's best friend) had a baby shower for me on Sunday. There was wonderful food, fun times with friends and family and awesome gifts. Thank y'all so much for planning such a wonderful get together for me, I really appreciate it. XOXOXO
